**SUMMER Quarter Financial Aid Disbursements**

Summer quarter financial aid disbursement is scheduled to begin the afternoon of June 26th to all qualifying students.

Students who have been awarded Summer quarter financial aid, remain in good academic standing, and are currently registered for full-time credits (or have informed us prior to the quarter of less than full-time enrollment) should expect to receive their funding during the week of June 29th.

The financial aid office is assuming that students will start their classes on June 29th and are enrolled for at least 12 credits (Note: some programs may be starting prior to June 29th).

Students should log into BankMobile now, to confirm that their disbursement preference information is accurate, including postal address, phone number and email address.

The Following Usual Financial Aid Policies Apply:

*Less than Full Time Enrollment:  If you are enrolled - or plan to be enrolled - in less than 12 credits, please contact the financial aid office via email at financialaid@wvc.edu and let the office know how many credits you will be enrolled for, as we do need to adjust for enrollment.  Students enrolled for less than fulltime who do not contact us may have delayed disbursements, as we will not automatically adjust until after the census date (8th day of the quarter in Summer) when we run reports to make sure that financial aid matches the enrollment level.

Complete Withdrawals/Non-Attendance:  If a student does not attend their classes,  or withdraws prior to the start of their classes, they will owe back any financial aid funds that were disbursed to them.

If you have any questions, please contact the financial aid office via email.  Our email address is financialaid@wvc.edu

Please beware of and avoid scholarship scams and fee-based scholarship services. There is no reason to pay for lists of scholarships or pay someone to complete the FAFSA. By completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) you will automatically be considered for most federal and state aid and all funds that Wenatchee Valley College offers.

*PHONE & LETTER SCAMS*:  We have recently been made aware of students receiving phone calls and official looking letters asking for personal information (SID, SSN, bank account number, FSA ID, etc.) in relation to their financial aid and student loans.  WVC advises that you NEVER give out your student ID, SSN or bank account information to unsolicited contacts, even if they have other information such as an estimated amount of your student loans.

*Important Reminder*:   BankMobile Refund Selection Kits will be mailed to you via US postal service.  Neither WVC nor BankMobile will ever initiate a phone call to you to ask for your account information or social security number or to set you up for Direct Deposit.  WVC advises that you NEVER give out your bank account or other personal information over the phone on an unsolicited call.
